Hayne is the worst kind of athlete. At least those (Kyrgios) with similar personality sentiments (entitlement, arrogance etc) stick to individual sports.
You must have spent some time with him to make that type of judgement about his personality.

They do need a fullback, especially if Mead and/or Hofman leave. Not sure if he's the right one, not for the price involved. Zillman is local and has been okay for them but he's not good enough if they want to be strong. Only problem is, Mead probably will go now.
He'll do wonders re: PR for the Titans. Very astute signing IMO (costly, yes but astute), there will be benefits a plenty for the Titans having this type of player at the club.

He'll cop some hate from Pawwa fans but it will definitely sell some more tickets at Robina, at least for a few weeks. If he helps them win most weeks it will help sell even more, more often. So from a commercial point of view it's a good signing, but he needs to be a positive influence in a football sense too and that's the question mark.

Gotta feel at least a little bad for Hoffman. He walked away from the Broncos because they wouldn't play him at fullback. Titans shift him to centre and potentially now this...

Watch the tears start rolling at the official announcement as Hayne says it's been a dream to be a Titan for many years and now he has a chance to fore fill that dream.

A dream that will most likely last 12 months if that before he finds another dream.

How can anyone think this is a bad thing

They have a solid team as is with 2 promising halves, & just signed a superstar. It's only 2 years as well.

Any Eels fan with a brain would be happy about this. Couldn't understand why they were so keen to have him back - they remembered they did f**k all with him in the team, right? Ah, but that would be implying they have brains.

See the problem there..?

That's a great job by the Titans. They've now got a couple of young, talented halves, a star fullback and a very good hooker. That's a building block for a very good team
