I wonder if he thinks he can just coast back into the NSW team, I would be hoping Tommy T has a quiet start to the year if that was the case.

Thing is though, I bet he would pull his finger out for NSW and show us what he's capable of, probably be player of the series... loves the big stage, hates the day in day out drudgery of club footy by the sounds of it...

I think people have massively overrated the Titans team, therefore making Hayne look bad

I didn't have them making the Top 8

Well I thought Hayne was fantastic in 2014. My favorite player outside my own club, was surprised to see him leave to try NFL at the peak of his playing career. Then we all watched his ego evolve into narcissistic proportions with the help of Fox Sports Australia.

Done FA since then and his last game was atrocious.

It's now pretty clear Jarryd Hayne does not want to be at the Titans despite receiving a massive contract. I guess money can't buy Titans love.

"The Jarryd Hayne situation at the Gold Coast Titans has all the hallmarks of a ticking time bomb.

And no matter what spin Hayne tries to put on it, there is no denying the star fullback reached out to the Roosters over the course of the off-season.

The approach came through a third party and was a way of testing whether one of Sydney’s most powerful clubs might make a play to get him out of the Titans.

The Roosters were continually linked with Hayne during his time in the NFL but the club has moved on and has zero interest in trying to manage his superstar antics."

Truly astounding that he comes back to Australia with a bigger ego than ever after failing so hard in the NFL. Someone read him the definition of "humility"

Michael Ennis suggests Titans would be better cut their losses with Jarryd Hayne and move on.

If their is one thing that's been proven from the Titans last season making the top eight is nobody is irreplaceable. Its been proven that with Daly Cherry-Evans backing out of the deal and James Roberts leaving the Titans were predicted to have their season crashing to a halt and it never happened.

Earning a start in the NFL after 1 pre-season and no background in the sport does NOT equal Failing Hard

Not Knowing who Jason Smith is in a Rugby League Forum DOES equal Failing Hard

You still haven't grasped the concept of "Failing" despite being so good at it....

Parra and any other team that missed out on Haynes dogged a massive bullet. No one is doubting he still has ability but he is not the sort of guy you want in a team environment. Probably earning 5 times some players at the coast and putting in a quarter the effort
Soon as he walked out on Parra to pursue his dream I hoped he wouldn't return.
