In your opinion who is the better player? The similarities between both players are remarkable. Both of them are extremely freakish players who can play anywhere from 1-5 easily. Both have alot of speed, skill and power and both can even goal kick. I know it's very hard to separate the two but if you simply had to choose who would you give the edge to and why?

From an opposition perspective, I'd prefer Hayne in my side because he is a great tackler, not just a great attacker. Defence is Inu's weakness.

Inu for mind, Jarryd is brilliant but sometimes the spirit in which he plays the game leaves a little to be desired in my opinion.

Inu for mine.
Jarryd lacks a sense of urgency at key times IMO... it frustrates me a little

they both play for us so I dont see any reason to put them up against one another

Inu just tabbed my vote on the grounds that he's a fantastic goal-kicker. As an opposition fan, all I know is that I'd kill for a combo like those two...

Argh!

At this point I would have to say Hayne. It seems that he is starting to cop a few negative comments from people, maybe its due to the uncertainty about his future and everyone is bracing themselves for bad news and in the process talking him down.
This kid is 19yrs old and slotted into fullback this year without a care in the world. I'm not saying that Inu is not a fantastic talent, but Hayne has a certain aura about him when he is on the pitch. I think Inu has the potential to be a greater attacking weapon but when you consider Hayne's brutal defence and extreme confidence, I would have to go with him right now.
But hey what a wonderful comparison it is. It brings me joy. I just hope I can make this comparison in 2009.

I had always preferred Hayne but Inu is very good too. I think they are a little different though. Hayne has had more experience but Inu was always going to be a good player if he could cut out the selfishness he used to display.

They are both absolute guns, we are lucky to have them both. I'd say Hayne has a slight edge ATM. Lets hope we get to see them for many years in the blue and gold.

I too for one can't really split the two.

Maybe only Jarryd due to more big game experience due to SOO.

I too think that INU was a tad selfish when at Centre but couldn't be on the wing.

I hope that he has learnt from Tahu on how to use your wingman instead of going yourself.

Tahu at the latter end of his RL career was getting close to being a complete centre. He showed how to make use of wingman. I used to criticise him for not using his winger last year.

Just hope Inu picked up on that and that his possie in the team is safe and so there is no need to prove that he deserves to be in the team
