I'm sure I read somewhere we are buying Head as a back up half.

So that means even if we do get him he wont get a run until at least rd. 24 by that time we will probably be well out of finals contention.


Same with Youngquest. People seem to be forgetting we have secured the services of the great Shannon McDonnell for 3 years.

Prince, from memory, had 2 or 3 broken legs over a couple of years before we got him. We paid overs and he delivered. the talk at the time was that we were buying a crock..

A crock at one club, a premiership winner at another.

If Prince was worth a shot, Matt Head is definately worth a shot.

My guess it be might a week for any news, they have missed the deadline for the glebe and the western courier and the Cambo what ever. They like that high volume exposure stuff to parade their new guns.

Most clubs use nine and the tele crap, we go for the local stuff,probably dont have to give out as much free stuff to get media plugs in the local stuff as you would in the main stream media

clearly he's not going to come out and say we are interested in matty because john morris at halfback was an absolute failure.
cover all bases still gives the illusion that IF matty head doesn't sign the dotted line then the halves we had last year can still do the job.
untill he signs his contract no one is going to come out and say we want him to be our 1st choice
