Strike a line through us. Were done. The players may not recover from this.

The players? What about us nimrods in the stands, stress levels rising?

We should have imported a bigger sombrero from Cancun.

This wont worry the players of Flanno, it will just fire them up more, the same effect it is having on us, when you play and support the Sharks you are special breed since 2016, we understand that you need to give the NRL a big FU, we tried for years being the nice guy and got screwed over and over, us waiting 50 years in respect best thing that happened to us.
It actually hardened supporters and players anyone involved with the club we understand how we need to win and how to fight.

The prime example when Fifita mouthe off to Dymock/Flanno, whoever it was, he was pi**ed because he wanted to win, so do the coach but in another way, but guess what we won, no different to the forum we all want to win, but it different way we argue with each other, but all have one goal.

But then when the NRL or some imbecile panther supporter attacks the club or us, its circle the wagons boys we are all in this together and we protect the club and each other and thats how we operate so to the NRL, Kent, Rothfield, those imbecile supporters from other forums FU, we are the Sharks and we do not bow down to anyone

Did anyone see the puffpiece the Farkwit wrote on himself???
He didn't even start going for the Sharks until after 78. He'd have been around 20 years old, so he obviously went for someone else before that . He's the ScoMo of newspaper land #fake fan

Cronulla Sharks salary cap scandal: Buzz Rothfield on the pain of investigating his beloved Cronulla
AUGUST 28, 2018Most readers of this newspaper would be aware I am a Cronulla Sharks tragic.

A season ticket holder, member and fanatical fan.

I have been since I covered the Sharks’ 1978 grand final replay against Manly on a Tuesday afternoon at the Sydney Cricket Ground and walked away thinking they were hard done by.

WORST TIMING: Sharks investigated over possible salary cap breaches

In this gig it can be difficult having such an emotional investment a footy team.

You go there every week to cheer your lungs out, boo the referee over a pie and beer.

Shark Park is my second home.

In this business though you have to treat every story on its merit.

When our front-rower and 2016 grand final hero Andrew Fifita abused a junior referee two years ago I broke the story and exposed him.

When Josh Dugan got thrown out of Cronulla RSL earlier this year for swearing in front of women I wrote about it.

Then there was the peptides, a story we couldn’t ignore.

Or when our chairman Damian Keogh was busted for possessing cocaine.

Now this potential salary cap scandal.

We got a tip-off on Tuesday morning.

My immediate thoughts are the newspaper and our website.

You start gathering the details, hit the keyboard and type it out.

It’s when the guilt hits home and you start to question yourself.

Should I have passed on the story to another colleague to write to stay sweet with the players, the coaches and the officials, many of whom are friends?

Yet at the end of the day it’s what we do.

Shane Flanagan chases two competition points every week as relentlessly as I chase stories.

I’m worried this one might have an effect on our finals campaign and what sort of disruptions it may cause.

Still, if I hadn’t have written it, someone else would have. And whether you like it or not, it’s my job.

It just seems so strange a week after our players kicked Rothfield to the curb, this story breaks considering the NRL have had the documents for 3 months, the NRL has more leaks than a sieve, so Rothfield/Kent would have known for months but now its a story on the eve of the finals.

Can we send these 2 to cover ISIS overseas

No worries Sharkies the new Prime Minister will offer a Presidential Pardon.

He will back us to the hilt even if it cost him his new powerful position. That's the type of bloke he is.
