Dave, I like your idea of Ndaira at lock, I think he would do well there, good attack good ball playing and tough.

Ben Rogers should be in the team too, much better than Jeremy Smith but still not a half back.

JT please put Paea as number 14

he can come on 25-30 minutes into the game and move Smith to hooker.

Get him to defend in the middle with Roy by his side or on the edge with Frog next to him. Pretty much what Brisbane do with locky and Carroll. If they want to run at him the have some big boys there too.

Keep the halves the same for one more game. Changing them AGAIN will not help.

putting ndaira at lock its like putting Merritt in the front row, and he is smaller build than Issac Luke. he would get smashed.

I reckon Luke could have a dig at lock forward though, he is one of the best pound for pound players ive seen in a while.

Halves should be Sutton / Paea. I know Paea has some defensive deficiencies but tbh so does the rest of the team. At least we look like we have a bit of spark with Paea there. That first half against the Dog's we actually looked threatening and we haven't looked like scoring points since. If Rogers is there, it should be off the bench. The only problem with Paea is that he is not up to all the defence. Throw Rogers on in the 2nd half when Paea has had enough.

Talanoa and Vagana is our best centres combination atm, I would love to see Merritt back on the wing but cannot bring myself to suggest anyone else for fullback. Paulson not NRL standard, Smith as per Paulson, Widders needs to have a good hard think about himself before I would pick him again. Pettybourne is going to be a powerhouse in the future so he needs to be on the bench right now imo.

You only have to look at their players to see what a rotten team they have got, add to that a clueless coach in Jason Taylor and there you have the formula for the wooden spooners. At the beginning of the year I said that anyone who tips souths to make the eight has nfi when it comes to rugby league. One thing it should do is make the stupid Souths supporters realise that their poverty stricken club are losers with a loser mentality, something that fly by nighters like the phone chucker and Daddy's boy are powerless to change no matter how many vermin jerseys they give away to Jay Leno! It couldn't happen to bigger bunch of merkins!

I said this to a number of Souths fans on this forum when they were getting a bit over excited after a few trial wins and now I will say it to you -

It's only early. There are many more twists and turns to come in this competition and you don't want to be the c0ck head that everyone quote's in their sig's at the end of the year.

I know you must be excited because, like every other Roosters fan, you take more pleasure in watching the Rabbits lose than the Roosters win, however nothing is certain in this comp at the moment and if you go off too early, you only stand to end up with egg on your face. Take a chill pill, relax, watch the footy and be excited by the success that your team is showing. If Souths are still on the bottom come round 26, then you can come in here and bag us without fear of reprisal.

By the way, the use of the term "LOL @ Souffs" is more derogatory to your own intelligence, then it is to us. Any poster who uses that term is immediately creating a link to themselves and Melon and he has proven himself, on a number of occassions, to be a genius of the highest order. Perhaps if we do run last and you come back here in 22 round's time to give us a bagging, you can set yourself the assignment of coming up with something new (and funny). If you do manage to do that, then my level of respect for you (at the moment it is lower than a snakes ars3h0le) will lift up a notch (to be inline with a lizards ars3h0le).

We dont have enough points of attack.Sutton was the only one who looked like creating anything and so he was heavily marked.3 or 4 times he was standing in tackles arms free looking to offload,a good fullback would have had a field day.The try Eddie Paea scored against the dogs was a classic halfbacks try,it showed he has vision something which Smith couldnt even spell.

That combination would give us 4 points of attack and make it harder to mark a player like Sutton

How exactly is the club povery stricken?
Taylors coaching record has been pretty good untill the opening rounds of this season, so why is he clueless?
PHaC made his own millions, so why is he refered to as Daddy's boy?
Most people tipped Souths for the 8, however, injuries to key players has derailed that, so why do people have NFI that predicted so?
