Finally got around to watching this, and ripped through all 12 episodes in les than a week. Brilliant show, well written, well acted, just well done all round. I think the climactic bunker scene was spot on tbh.. no disappointment at all, pushed all the right buttons.
As a viewer you're almost willing Brody to flick the switch to vindicate Carrie, and, well, the Vp and his mates are all assholes who deserve it, no? But the phone call from Dana forced Brody to make the choice between family and duty - a choice Saul and Carrie made long ago (duty every time) and with nothing to show for it. Brody chose family and is the winner
Very satisfying stuff

Anyone watched the S2 first episode, started pretty well imo.

the stuff between Brody and his daughter is great tv in such a simple way.

And I didn't expect that ending so early!!!

Homeland is good, but there is no comparison to Breaking Bad.

Don't watch the preview for next week's episode if you don't want to be spoiled. It seems to give quite a lot away.

I love breaking bad, I do and I don't really want to get into which is better, Imo though is that Homeland's writing, acting and overall way that it messes with your emotions and where your alliance falls is brilliant.

I am just thankful the era of reality TV being king is winding down and real shows are being made again (boardwalk, GOT's, breaking bad).

Just bring back Arrested Development already!!!!!

If anything they are multiplying... by the day. There's now half a dozen shows about pawn shops, idiots that catch fish with their hands, Honey f**king Boo Boo.

It is getting worse.

Ive Loved everything Damien Lewis has touched tbh, BoB, Life, Homeland.

Cant wait to watch ep2 of season 2 this sunday. Interesting to see if they finish it this season or keep milking the money until the story goes sour. Lost comes to mind.
