Awesome!

People who like this show might be interested in checking out a series called Rubicon. It only lasted one season but it was a f**king great show.

Episode 2 was not even filmed in Beirut - it was filmed in Israel. Beirut looks nothing like the way they portrayed it.

By the way, Criminal Minds is way better than :D

I'm loving the new season, I had wondered how the writers were going to pull off a second season and where it could possibly go that was new and different. Making Brody a double agent is just right.

But I'm bothered by one flaw in logic: why would Abu Nazir send Brody to move the tailor to the safehouse, when he has a military swat team of agent-killing assassins on call at a moment's notice? Doesn't make sense to me at all!

Because if he gets caught, the fear arising from someone that close to government being a plant is still a winning scenario. It'll no doubt come out later that Nazir doesn't trust Brody now, since the failed attempt in season 1. I don't think he'll be a successful double agent, he will likely be sent on a goose chase.

Surely Brody earnt Nazir's trust with his actions early in season 2 - stealing the info from David Estes' safe, and the may day text message saved Nazir's life! It's an interesting explanation, however it's still flawed imo.

The show is full of flaws ;-)

Seems to me the only way they can take this 'double agent' thing is Nazir doesn't trust Brody, leaks him incorrect intel, so they can divert the CIA from their true intentions... Once that has played out, Brody is fully onboard with the CIA and joins their huntdown efforts...

Otherwise the double agent thing only has a season in it at most. The show is full of convenient scenes to progress plot points, many of them aren't particularly realistic unfortunately.

i guess that depends on what was in the black box? maybe nasir didnt trust the tailor with what was in it, maybe the tailor didnt even know the box was in the wall..

my guess is to take the pressure of the shop in the hope that the CIA dont search it and dig deep, however when that changed they obviously had to abandon ship in an aggressive matter.

alot might not be explained fully but i think thats why when it happens it comes as a total shock.

Action packed episode 7. Great to see Aileen back (albeit briefly) - that road-trip episode last season with Saul was one of my favourites and the re-union didnt disappoint. But my favourite scene was the Carrie chat with Detective Mike. So many subtexts to it!
Season 2 is simmering along well... Brody is coming apart at the seams

seemed a bit like a 'filler' ep to me, which just means its building to something.

i thought the lack of attention the 6 dead CIA agents got was disturbing. I know they mentioned it but it seemed to go into 'soap opera' mode with dana's crisis and whatever else. didn't seem to acknowledge just how brutal that moment at gettysburg was imo.

Brilliant finish to the season... it had been floundering in the final 2 or 3 episodes and I was wondering if I'd be compelled to watch again in season 3. But after that finale, hell yeah I'll be back

I liked it, I have just had to come to terms that the 'realism feel' to Season 1 went out the window this season and it's going to be a bit more 24-ish from now on.

Once I was cool with that, I enjoyed it.

Finale was good, Saul is the Mole.
