i have mixed/negative feelings about the finale. actually about the final 6 episodes of the second season.

Carrie has lost all credibility and the end scene of the finale for me doesnt cut it. I feel ripped off. The episode is titled 'the choice', and carrie doesnt make one.

What do you mean?

She either goes on the lam with Brody or goes back to try and clear his name, that's the choice.

she chose Brody originally, helped him enough to cross the border with new ID (helping the lead suspect in a terrorist investigation), then shes gonna go back and help the CIA, and they wont ask questions where the f**k shes been?

There are also different interpretations of what 'the choice' may have actually been. For me it was carrie running brody to the border instead of shooting him dead/taking him into custody after the explosion.

I hated the whole direction of the show in putting carrie and brody together. it was ugly to watch. for all of season 1-and first half of season 2 you were on carries side. you wanted her to win. Now i want her to cop a bullet tbh.

what happened to the carrie we saw at the end of s2ep4?

Fair enough, it's going to be interesting to see how Carrie spins her situation with Saul.

I'm trying not to pick this show to bits and just go with it, I've done it with other shows that stray too far from their original formula and end up stopping watching them.

The most interesting bit for mine, was who sent the video of Brody's assassination confession to the media?

Only Saul and Carrie are left alive who has seen it I believe.

Brody really has to die this season I think, Otherwise it really will just drag, i think there should be a new threat on the horizon.

looks like peter quinn will play a much more starring role which should keep it fresh.

as long as the writing and acting stays top notch i wont have a problem watching.

The sink or swim season for any US TV Show.

Season 3.

I'm not overly pleased how season 2 ended. Its almost as if by killing off a heap of people it allows the writers to draught in a heap of new people and then play the whole "Do you trust them" game all over again with them.

I've about lost my patience with this new show about about teenage love and suicide, mental institutions and I can't even describe what the f**k that was with Brodie. It needs to get where it's going fast.

Agreed. Dana was only ever interesting as a subplot to the Brody storyline, watching his reactions and relationship to her. On her own it's fkn boring and belongs on another show.
I'm close to giving up on the show as well. The only way this season becomes worthwhile, imo, is if Carrie takes the bait offered by that lawyer dude and flips on the agency.

Didn't watch much of the first two seasons (episodes here and there), and wasn't really a fan. But I've been watching the episodes on Ten for the last few weeks, and I'm loving it. Yes, it's slowly-paced and can't seem to focus on any single point, but I feel every distraction is there for a reason. The Dana subplot is irritating at times, but it does show what can happen when something like what happened to the Brodys happens.

Top show.

Also, Mandy Patinkin is the man.

I'm finding it hard to get into this season. Just seems so helpless

I'm giving it until the next episode before I stop watching, when a show meanders away from its original formula it means the writers have lost the plot.

I'm getting that sinking feeling watching it like I did with The Walking Dead S02 and Boardwalk Empire S03.

il probably give it the rest of the season, there is still a strong storyline in there somewhere.

Last episode was as slow as shit, i'm thinking it has jumped the shark. I'll give it a few more episodes hopefully it picks up. Not a patch on the first two so far.
