Would love the show to focus on saul and then we would never have to see danaids again.

Brody has to die, but will they kill him off as a hero or a terrorist? Probably as a hero.

I'd love for Carrie to die, or have a miscarriage, terrible thing to say but I don't think a baby will really fit in to the show. They won't kill her off anyway.

It would be good to see the show revolve around Saul and whichever new character becomes the CIA's main person of interest, or maybe even Javadi and his new position as Akbari's (or whatever his name is) replacement in Iran.

if i recall correctly the creator/s of the show said that every season would have a different theme/feel to it, similar to 'the wire'.

The show wont suffer from Brodies death. It was getting repetitive with the whole brody/carrie twisted love story. It may suffer from the lack of powerful acting Damien Lewis offered however.

thank f**k brodie died and dana and the wife aren't renewed as characters. Hopefully Carrie goes to istanbul and it can go back to being a CIA show not a 3/4 rip off of neighbours starring dana.

I thought Dana was quite strong and the wife was a tasty little thing. However, with Brody gone it makes sense to cut them.

So now, what? The Carrie, Saul and Quinn show, in Istanbul? Centred around the relationship with the new CIA Director?

I cracked and returned to the show. The last 20 minutes of the show was poor, I get why they got rid of Brody. They have done all they can with his character but why couldn't they end the episode there? The last part was boring and could have been quickly wrapped up at the start of season 4.
Good news Dana is not coming back.

I feel they should have ended the series at the end of season 3.

Season 4, if its a continuation of the storyline, will be a contrived piece of shit.

The only way a season 4 would work in my view, is to have it take place in the years leading up to the events in Season 1 Episode 1.

I've refused to watch it.

The storyline around Brody is what drove that show, guessing whether he was a goodie or a baddie.

With that element removed, we are left with the producers having to create a new Brody.

I believe Claire Danes has had a hand in the production of the tail end of season 3 and the start of season 4, so I wouldn't be surprised if she probably wanted Brody dead so she could be the main star of the show.

The only way I could've seen season 4 being any good was if it were to go to the incidents that lead to Brody's capture (and his being held captive) which were shown in episode 1 of season 1.

I'm only still watching it because once I start a show I like to finish it, but I'm really uninterested in the storyline now.

I like to think of the season 3 finale as the whole show's finale.

I liked the first episode but has dragged on a bit in the last 2. Hopefully it will pick up a bit now that Quinn has rooting fat chicks out of his system.

I gave up on this show after the end of season 3 which was mostly painful.

Sounds like I'm not missing much.
