Ivans hookers last year were Farah who averaged 57 running meters per game and Liddle who averaged 38 meters per game,so I doubt he has instructed Katoa/Egan not to run.

His everything is overrated here. I swear, someone on here called him a "creative genius". I mean...what?

Who is overrating him? I don’t think anyone thinks he’s in the top 10 hookers in the comp, but he’s also not near as bad as some make him out to be especially given he’s playing against a (currently) poor forward pack.

Against the team that was previously winless - very encouraging.

In those stats about our hookers did they mention katoa 60mins a game egan about 10 mins swap them around and watch the difference.

How many more games do we have to lose before cleary finally wakes up and sees katoa is not the answer at hooker.If egan is not the answer either id look at someone like liam martin he would stiffen our defence at least just needs to work on attack.

A fair few of our line breaks/tries came off the back of his trick shots around the ruck. I think he needs to play a bit more like Api Koroisau. Skillful passing at times but but mix it up with running the ball. He's pretty quick and built low to the ground, always seems to get quick qtb on the rare occasions he runs it.

I wouldn't go as far as to say he had a really good year but doesn't deserve some of the more extreme criticism.

Run Metres:
21. Katoa - 14 m pg
22. Egan - 3 m pg

Kicks:
14. Katoa - 0.5 pg
15= Egan - 0.3 pg

Things are changed. Some folks still not happy. Hard to please.
