Jack can play in any position , and masterfully, but if you want to win games play him at the back.

If he wants to play fullback, he won't sign with Cronulla.

We have the best under 20's on our books for 3 years.

If we he wants to play in the halves, back row or centre, then he is welcome to come here and train his ring off.

Rumours linking us to Kevin Brown are crap by the way.

There's talent there for sure.

But top 4 - 6 need an X factor.
Souths without inglis or storm without Cronk or cowgirls without Thurston .... They would all come way back to the field despite their other talent.

Carney was ours.

He had a shit year.

We had a shit year. Obviously many other factors as well contributed.

Gallen chews up a lot of dollars which a match winner should/could be paid.
He is an enforcer. An inspirer.
Not a matchwinner.

Cant see us making semis..... But a good year injury wise could lay a good platform for 2016.

But we need to get a Hunt or Shaun Johnson or unearth a young gun.

The MAIN problem l see is our young talent being developed or utilised properly.

Flanno is a sticky clone - wants to buy 'firstgraders' and cannot identify nor bring talent thru.
These pups who have been impressing?....they will slot straight back behind the ayshfords next year.

Unless....

Gallen isn't our highest paid player mate.

Heard Nathan Green mentioned again today. Haven't seen too much of him, but what I have seen suggests he is another average plodder.

Gallen isn't our highest paid player mate.
Thats surprising.

He should be. He gives more than anybody else.

On that - I'm not bagging Gal. He has bled for us - but if we want to threaten for anything in September we have to have players who do something special. Thats what we need to throw our dollars at.

Eels with and without Hayne. They can make all the difference. One player.

We need to unearth our next ET.

Wouldn't be interested in Austin.

But Moltzen has game.

Especially at 7.

If we thought carney had no ticker in defence. I will see your Todd carney and raise you Tim molten, who has no ticker in attack or defence.

Austin goes ok. With a set position he will get better. Plays everywhere and has done so in every grade.

Austin is average.

We need to sign a classy half otherwise we may as fast forward 2015 and start planning for 2016. We will not win the comp, or go anywhere near it with Robson and Brown in the halves. Particularly with Gordon at the back, I rate Gordon highly, but a great ball player he is not.
