What were you? 10?!
No, we were all Union players that had never played league in our life and couldn't handle how fast it was.
Had a ball playing though. Our school had never fielded a team in its 125 years and we were lucky enough to be the first. It took a lot of petitioning but we did it.

but hey, i'll just go back to being jealous that I never got as far as mitch pearce, the current City halfback and future NSW origin player :sarcasm:

Yep Hindmarsh was useless and Buderus did nothing.

What exactly did Hindmarsh do? I think his name was mentioned once in the telecast. Was there just a hologram of Hindmarsh out there?

Buderus noticeably lifted Counrty when he came back on, without being exceptional.

No props on the bench, a 5-8 at lock, Purtell, Carney?

It will be:

Stewart
Hayne
Gasnier
Cooper/Monaghan
Quinn
Bird
Finch (great halves names lol)
Kite
Buderus
Bailey
Laffranchi
Hoffman
Gallen

Gidley
Tupou
Mason
White

I'm a Roosters fan too, but i still think they will pick Bird at 5-8 instead of lock to accommodate an extra backrower (Laffranchi), and Pearce won't be picked because he would only be picked for his combo with Anasta.

But on the plus side, i like Bob Digi too. Doo-doo-doo-doo~!

I think Hayne put his hand up tonight & will play with Quinn on the wing for the blues..

You are kidding right, Hayne and quinn were both caught out of position lucky for hayne, quinn is a sh*t winger, other wise hayne would be made to look like a fool.

Quinn would have lost it for country

If city had wallace as half back there would have been 5 trys through Quinn, why did Quinn keep on coming in field ?

Peace is a joke all he can do is bombs and kicks , i blame his club coach for that , he is another overrated player

Are you parra fans still of the belief that the crab like, flopping hack you are spubking 350k a season on is better than Heighno ? Check out his stats in big league then compare him with that fat arsed robertson flopper

Quinn has suddenly become the most overrated player in the NRL imo. He was caught out in defence numerous times last night. Yes he can run from dummy half and take pressure off the forwards but so can 20 other wingers in the comp.

QLD will direct all their attacking raids down his side without a doubt.

Players to put their hands up:

- Laffranchi
- Cross (thought he was easily the best prop on the field)
- Heighington

I'd put Monaghan on the wing for NSW too. Hayne was ok, but caught out a few times. Quinn did nothing to improve his chances.

Halves are still open. I reckon they'll go with Bird and Finch, and probably righly so.

Hodgson was the better fullback, but has buckley's chance of getting another NSW with Stewart around (unless he's injured).

My NSW team:

1. Stewart
2. Monaghan
3. Gasnier
4. Cooper (been very good recently)
5. Hayne?

6. Bird
7. Finch

8. Cross
9. Buderus
10. Bailey (is he going to play this year?)
11. Mason
12. Hoffman
13. Gallen

14. White
15. Laffranchi
16. Tupou
17. Gidley

Kite is useless - will not be making my team.

What did Gibbs do other than drop the ball, or get smashed in every hit up?

I thought he was terrible, but I was scratching my head as to why he was even there.

31 tackles, 15 hit-ups, 127 metres for Bryce.

One dropped ball and one stupid penalty in the dying seconds.

Good solid game IMO.

His ruck defence is superb, just needs to improve his go-forward which he has stepped up a notch recently.

No where near State of Origin standard yet though.

Gibbs was effective i agree, did the hard yards so the 2nd rowers could play a bit of football.

Well done Bryce, hope he backs up tonight. :D
