P03 got dumped for not listening, not taking on advice and not staying on topic for the relevant thread. Dave Q and posts in relation to his has been dumped for the same reason.

I've let the debate go because it has reasonably stayed on topic in regard to Matt Elliott and members having differing opinions. I don't see those as reasons to lock an active topic, so when necessary I dump posts that don't relate to the above.

You have to remember that everyone expected Langy to get us into the top 8 the first year he started with us, and we ended up comming third last. Needless to say it was a better result than the previous season (wooden spooners) I think supporters expect far too much of a new coach and generally expect him to be the answer to their prayers.

Needless to say, Matt is a good signing for us, and I think with time, he will turn the boys back into the team they used to be in 03' and 04'. Don't expect too much too soon though... Give Matt at least a year to settle in. Don't expect too much next season, I think we'll make the 8, or just miss out by the skin of our teeth but not much more.

2008, however will be a very different story.
