How many ( finals series ) "tour of duties" have you done .
Need somebody to stat for me.
How many finals have sharks been in - by year would be nice
I am sensing a bit of confidence in our younger forumites.
I think this needs to be addressed.

I was once a young man with plenty of hope for this team.

Even played in a band where one of our songs gave the great peach a mention.

I have been wounded in battle so many times I am almost immune to the big losses these days.

I reckon I have seriously been following since about 83.

Geeze in that time we have lost some battles.

I reckon Quigs must be looking a bit war weary .

I have only been to 3 finals outside of shark park.

2 v the dragons (a surprise win in 2002?? and the nightmare in 1999).

52-10 v Dogs, which was an unbelievably great day.

I'm going tomorrow.

I went to 2 at shark park. 99 win against broncos. 2008 win against Canberra.

every finals game since 99 for me except when we pumped the raiders at shark park in 08. i was on my EOS trip at port macquarie.....

Went to the Super League 'Grand Final' against Broncos - we were never in it - very disappointing. Apparently I took the loss hard (according to my other half)... Something about 'taking it too seriously...' 'Don't wreck the day for the others'... Etc etc... ;-D

Going to the game tomorrow - just can't get excited... Too many heartbreaks over the years...

Expecting a performance like the one we had against Newcastle - tentative with a loss in the last five minutes.

Might be a quiet drive home back to Bathurst... And - my wife is a Cowboys supporter (She IS from North QLD)...

Of course, there's a little part of me that dares to hope that we won't be CRO-NULL-IFIED for 2013... ;-D

I'm still scarred from the '78 replay. Think I've told the story before, but the long and short of it was that I wagged school to go the game; we lost, I got busted and copped the strap the following day.

I've not recovered since.

Been to a handfull of finals series live, was too young to appreciate the 73' Granny.

All the rest have been a roller coaster of up's and the inevitable crash and burn.

I'm like Carch, I'm immune to it somewhat. If we fall over tomorrow I will be sad the next day after I shake of my hangover.

There's always next year. Maybe.

I remember coming out of ANZ after the 1999 loss to dragons, merkin dragon fan with box of tissues throwing tissues at sharks fans, made my blood boil but he was a big merkin.

Compare with leaving ANZ after 2001 loss to warriors, kiwi fans giving you a hug, saying "bad luck bro", softened the blow
