Absolutely nothing wrong with it.
The vendetta people have against slater is simply embarrassing.
Actually there was something wrong with it. He kicked someone in the face.
Irrational hate only makes you look stupid.
Completely unintentional contact, dismissed.
He just MOTM on channel 9.
and he stated he has to have a look at the footage again, but he was just protecting himself when he jumps in the air to take a bomb
So are head high tackles on the most part. People defending Slater on this one are either fanbois or too heavily influence by the commentators.
You can't kick someone in the face in our game. Seems he didn't learn the 1st time...

Don't we talk about duty of care? Why does that not apply in this instance? There is no reason anyone should expect a kick in the face when closing in on a person taking the ball.
Anyway, we can agree to disagree.. He's have a holiday imo.
So many sooks on this forum! What does it matter if every fullback jumps like that? Klemmer ran into him. Once the bloke is in the air catching the bomb, let him do whatever he pleases - because is you make contact with him in the air, you're the one to blame. If you're jumping to contest the bomb against the fullback, the foot position won't be a factor. The moment Slater or whoever else hits the ground, he can't do that - but in the air it's fine.
Good old tall poppy syndrome. Have fun sniffling into your tissues.
Nobody kicked anything fella.
Can you kick something when you're three feet off the ground?
There's no reason a person taking the ball should expect to be tackled in mid-air either.
