To say gallen was pre-meditated in going out to do damage to myles for previous grubby acts is a bit sensationalist. we dont need to sell seats for game 2. we could sell out 2 sydney olympic stadiums up here. all gallen has done, instead of retribution, is motivate a team that started slowly in game 1 to come out and compete from the first minute. when qld has 4 or 5 of the best players in the game, you dont want them motivated as well. gallen has sunk his teams already slim chances of stopping the juggernaut.

You honestly think that Qld are motivated by Gallens words and actions and not by the fact that they got completely dominated in game 1 and will be looking to avoid that again? Honestly?

In that head of his Gallen believes he's manufactured his own Wally Lewis/Mark Geyer moment. He believes he's now a qualified, verified legend of the game because he's stood up to the naughty, bad Queenslander.

Trouble is Mr Gallen, you're the biggest grub in the game with the judiciary record to prove it.

Wally Lewis was no angel, but he didn't resort to the gutter tactics Gallen has made famous.

When he joined the Brisbane Broncos, it is well documented that he did not fit into Wayne Bennett's plans. Looking back one can see clearly what happened - Bennett could see the combination of Langer/Walters was going to be a brilliant. There are still PLENTY of highlights of Wally Lewis in actions from the Broncos - if you look for them which you obviously haven't.

After he was let go for the Broncos, Lewis captained and coached the Gold Coast team which was full of players whose names you wouldn't even recognise today. Lewis was a superstar in a team of nuffies.
