and upset gus as well
Karma for his SGI review that kept Mary on for another year.

His “expert” commentary is really struggling these days.

Barely talks about the game, just how wonderful the last try scorer is and how he knew his dad back in the day.

Back to Mary, the eels fortunes took a dive once he was sacked as assistant lol. Who would have thunk that? I’m still after one of those SGI jester hoodies @Gareth67.

Anyway, always a good day when organised crime bows out of the finals.
And the finger to James Graham for favouring the miscreants over SGI.

I’m surprised they got that many fans through stadium security, maybe James paid some cash there as well.

Sorry James, no amount of money would get me into a footy game supporting the dogs. I’d rather see Mary’s majestic paddles, flashing the same colour of course.

I could add something similar but it's probably best I don't! 😉 😉 😉

At least Flanno had a swing this year despite Hunt. I heard a rumour that Flanno kept him to piss him off and had the gun to his head for quite some time.

I hope so.

Otherwise from a Tiger perspective, Mary seems like Craig Bellamy to us and we could sure use Duftys attitude in defence!

It would be encouraging to find out that Flanno let Zac go without too much of a fight just to spite Hunt.

He should have rubbed it in and held a special thank you zac lomax testimonial dinner. Not that it would turn a profit.

Anyway, I’m quite looking forward to seeing Zac in action at next years spoon bowl. On the hill with Brad Arthur with a couple of fail rylesy signs. Zacs miracle chip and chase play to win the match ends up with the ball in the Death Valley grandstand.

Dead set I wanna chunder when I read the rubbish coming from some league scribes gobs.

'Best Player: Ben Hunt gave his heart and soul every week: and most of the Dragons' 11 wins can be put down to his never-say-die attitude in both attack and defence. One of the NRL's most effective playmakers'.

Jeez I didnt see this, did you guys. And what of the other 15 matches where was he for them?

'Jack De Belin and Tom Eisenhuth both played every game'

Yes they did and congrats on Eisenhuth for keeping up to the stamina of our best most inspirational player. But apart from being busy in defense the Storm recruit was a major disappointment. Yet, wait for it, he was given the Club Immortal Award ahead of the man that deserves it, JDB as he was the guy that gave his heart and soul every week, not Hunt. But we all know that would have caused controversy.

Coach Shane Flanagan and the Dragons aren’t yet ready to re-sign Hunt beyond his current deal, which expires at the end of next season

Crap seems we are stuck with him for YET ANOTHER season according to Rothfield. So guys expect same old same old in '25 with this pretender steering the ship again..

‘I’m not ready to extend beyond ‘25. Let’s wait, do a good pre-season, see how you go the first four, five weeks next year and then talk,

Flanagan reluctant to cut the apron strings. Jeez someone on the BOD show some kahunas and tell Hunt that for several years his form and loyalty has not been of a standard this club demands from their captain, so we are cutting you adrift even if we have to pay out your last season.

I think Flanno will treat him a bit more harshly next season given that it will be his last season and knowing his track record of inconsistent form and dramas he has created within the club..

Unless Hunt is treated with Kid gloves he will pull the pin somewhere around state of origin especially when he is not picked.
We will be used as an excuse and we will be bad mouthed by ant qld supporter.

I think we need to get Mark Coyne involved and have a heart to heart with Hunt.

When Benji played for us he played shit until he left then put in, in Brisbane and Souths.

These guys get paid too easily and too quickly before they even genuinely earn it.

It’s the mark of the man. And Hunt’s actions over recent times as proved (to me) what sort of person he is.

I’d move him on and let karma weave its magic.
He might kick arse.
But I would put in his release- He can’t play against us.
St. George Illawarra is greater than any one individual.

I'm not a fan of Gus but he made a good point yesterday when talking Addo-Carr.

He said you need to put the club first, the team second and the individual third.

Looking at Hunt over the last 8 years and it's individual first, second and third.

He came for the money then he realised the place was a shambles, the coaches were peanuts but he was stuck there. Both he and the club would be better off if he moves on what the cost.
