Lyon did well. The tail, on the whole, did their job way better than the violet crumble bar top order.

In a run chase, there's always plenty of pressure on the top order, and they inevitably crumble in most circumstances.
By the time it's gets to the tail, there's less pressure and expectation and they seem to handle it better. I'd like a sports phycologist's view on why this so often occurs.

Us lower order bats just figure if the top order blokes can't get it done we might as well bulk our averages and show them up...

Tail enders just bat the same way regardless, usually
