Two teams of absolute Muppets relying on one or two guns to do anything good at all....

Our bowling line up has absolutely shat on theirs. Our fielding is far superior as well. You could argue they’ve been the better side for about three sessions all series.

Although it's pretty truthful sadly. Both sides are shadows of the great Ashes sides we've seen.... We've been better but as yet not good enough to land the actual killer blow. This test will be another chance to put it away completely, buuuut we've also selected the Big Bad Boneheaded Bison so...

I can't argue with this. Both teams have too many numties in their side and not enough internationals. If we had a few more genuine rep players to choose from they'd benefit immensely from being part of a higher quality 11. Enough to be #1 ranked test team.

f**k that. We don't want a 2-2 result this series. We want 3-1. Cummins does not need a rest. He's a fit 25 y.o. who isn't playing another game for ages. This resting players these days really shits me.

I agree but unfortunately it's a self perpetuating cycle.

That said I'd hope that picking Jimmy Brayshaw's big levered lover boy means they won't be resting the quicks, just using them less

It’s been a fantastic series, despite perhaps the talent being subpar in comparison to previous years. That said, for the most part we have easily been the better side and deserve to win the series outright.

I think that's probably why we bowled tbh. Might get two sessions of life out of the deck, and then the best batting will probably be later day to and into day three. So try and extract whatever we can out of it while it's there and then bat when it's at it's best?

Plus as sad as it sounds I think there's a bit of protecting the openers there, too...
