A Kiwi cricket reporter made an [obviously] tongue-in-cheek joke about Matthew Hayden, and the Fox Sports cricket reporting team had a bit of a tantrum about it.

There is probably lot of Aussies who would say this too

Haydos made a career of making a lot of runs in second innings and dead rubbers but didn't do so well well when he was needed, he probabaly should have been dropped 2 or 3 years before he retired as it was in his last few years that he failed a lot but would them make some second innings runs or runs in a test match when we had already lost a series whereas if he'd have made them when it counted, we may not have lost a series
