I really dont get the media beat up over Lyon, he cant keep the ball after a wicket so he left it for the umpire.

After reading some of the media headlines you'd think he dropped it on ADB;s head or something similar, the ball never touched him.

You'd think that Markram might have some issues in being fit for the next test, given the size of the lump on his elbow when Cummins hit him.

The danger will be the bounce back factor for the Saffas in 3 days time.

Apparently the next pitch in Port Elizabeth will be even slower.

Any chance we pick Jon Holland as a 2nd spinner (possibly over Cummins).

I personally think not but it could be food for thought...

The good old Aussie batting collapse is back.

Rabada looks like he might get banned for his sendoff (including possible shoulder bump) of Smith. Could be out for the rest of the series.

Pretty silly considering the last week.

Shame because he is an absolute superstar.

Once again getting starts and not converting, Paine did well to get us to 240 odd.

Problem is his history and the current surroundings.

Warner yelled a lot under the stairwell (but didnt actually touch anyone as he was held back)and got a grade 3 charge.

Rabada will be lucky to get off.

Rabada's seam position last night was absolutely brilliant, there was a bit in the pitch and he used it well.

If he gets pinged for showing passion like that they should take up netball

Problem is he has plenty of form. Banned not so long ago for a combination of send offs and just carrying on like a twit.

It was intentional enough to warrant some demerits if Lyon dropping the ball warranted some (and it probably did realistically) and repeat offenders get treated more harshly.

Genuinely could miss the rest of the series because his next threshold is a two match ban. It'd be a massive shame but like Warner he's gotta pull his head in

He has been warned for this exact behaviour. Absolutely no sympathy if he gets pinged. If he's allowed to continue contacting batsmen after dismissing them, then it may as well be a free-for-all.

Rabada's rap sheet dates back to February last year when he picked up three demerit points and a 50% match fee fine after a shoulder shove to Sri Lanka's Niroshan Dickwella in an ODI. He then earned a another demerit point in July, when he swore at Ben Stokes after dismissing him at Lord's during the first Test between South Africa and England. Rabada missed the second Test at Trent Bridge as a result; four demerit points lead to a ban of one Test or two limited-overs games, whichever comes first, while eight demerit points result in double the penalty. Each demerit point stays on a player's record for a period of 24 months, staying active even after the four-point threshold is broken.

This year, Rabada added a fifth point to his name when he gave Shikhar Dhawan a send-off during an ODI at St George's Park last month. Replays showed Rabada waving goodbye to Dhawan and then telling him to "f*** off".

While the punishment for both his verbal transgressions amounted to only one demerit point, physical contact, which is deemed inappropriate and deliberate, falls under a Level 2 offence. If found guilty of such a charge, a minimum of three demerit points are applied. That would take Rabada to eight, which would mean he misses the rest of the Australia series.

Jesus SA fans wearing SBW masks to razz Warner (SBW f**ked his wife famously in the Clovelly Hotel toilets).

Pretty low.

I reckon it's funny. Wouldn't have happened if he wasn't a gigantic sook.

The high ranking SA officials posing for a grinning photo with blokes in SBW masks is unbelievably stupid, however.

I reckon it's funny as. Warner is a sook and his carry on is what has encouraged this

Cricket related

Was it @Barry O'Speedwagon I was talking about local ACT cricketer Spaseski being a f**kwit?

He forfeited a semi final today because Jono and Blake Dean both scored double hundreds and Spacker couldn't be bothered showing up for day two....I smiled at the news.
