It doesn't matter what system the nrl uses. If you were the best team in the league you would make it to the grand final no matter what place you finish and bulldogs Arnt cheats, they don't make the calls or penalties, neither do manly. The referees make the calls. If anything people should think the refs need better eyes. The only way a team can cheat is if they breach the salary caP to get a better squad. On the field not one team can cheat, the refs will do their best to find errors from a team and penalize them for it.

Good. The two best teams in the comp and deserving winners in their respective finals - it's the way it should be. Besides, I am fundamentally opposed to the salary cap. I think it's a restriction of trade and I don't think we should be protecting clubs from bad business practices, especially this far down the track from Super League. Why should we be punishing clubs for their success and hardwork?

ahh because you have russel crowe owning 1 club and and tinkler another

crowe gets paid $20M a movie if he took the procceds of just one of his films and used it to sign players he could sign basically any player he wanted same goes for tinkler

if you want a EPL system where only 4 clubs ever have a chance of winning then fine but its not what i want

Moral of the story - It is worth taking the risk to cheat the cap if you are in the financial position to do so. The rewards will come, the administrators are incapable of coming up with a way to deal with it effectively.

Meh i have nothing against the Storm,Parramatta only have themselves to blame for losing the 2009 GF,Eels only decided to start playing the type of football that got them into the GF in the first place in the 60th min and the last 20 min they completely dominated the Storm,had they played that way from the start of the match they would have won no doubt about it.

For the first 60 mins of that GF Parra decided to move away from what they did best,dumb performance from the Eels.

These are by far the best two teams in the comp this year, evenly matched sides with great players and coaches.

I am actually looking forward to this game...

First time in awhile the GF has had the most 2 deserving teams that have played well all year. Last 3 years have involved teams that had a late season charge and fluked it in.

Both teams are still playing brilliant and it's hard to split the two
