IASbet.com backs punters on Jarryd Hayne's no-try ruling

The problem with your opinion in this argument is that if it had been Galbraith and not Hayne, you'd be screaming blue murder.

Suity

Not even close. My love for NSW far outweighs my dislike for HaHa's petulance. If you haven't figured it out from the way that I post in relation to rep games - last night, HaHa was one of mine. I cheered everything she did and cursed when things didn't go her way. The No Try was a perfect example as I was very disappointed when the call came back.

However, as soon as the first replay from in front was shown I knew what the ruling would be. No Try was the correct call and even though I would have loved for it to have been awarded the fair thing was for it to be denied.

Conversely, if GODbraith ever played against Australia then I would have been screaming for his head to be taken off. Same as with the likes of Cayless, Inu, Moi Moi, HaHa, Wagon, Vella, Grothe etc

Fair try - the fact that in the reverse angle you can see all of the white line means that haynes boot isn't touching the line in anyway.

Harrigan really lost the plot last night. For mine, the decision wasn't in the spirit of the game. The game was being televised to a wide audience and, as Sterlo said, most of the 2M punters who watched last night hardly ever turn on the NRL. D!ckhead.

That is exactly why the f*ckwit did it, headline Harrigan!!!!

Just because the media release came out doesn't make it the right call!!!

The evidence last night was inconclusive, should have been benefit of the doubt.

F**k me.....what would be fairer if they dedicated the first 20 pages with photos of ALL the stills....only then could we draw a reasonable conclusion.

That could very well be the next frame after HaHa's shoe has come off the line.

sh*t, one minute everyone is bagging the Telecrap because of their sensationalism and the next they are being used as definitive, objective proof...

they're not the proof - the proof is the still from the channel 9 coverage - the telegraph just happened to have published it

I really don't want to know what you are gonna do with that puppy in a bed. There are probably other forums on other sites that would be more suited to such talk, strides.

The best thing about all of this is the skill level Jarryd has shown to get around Folau and Slater.
Even though it wasn't (officially) a "try" I am still in awe of his talent.
More please JH!

Unless Hayne has some kind of disability where he runs differently from every other person on this planet, nobody's heel touches the ground when they are running, that was a try.
