Liam Livingstone, Jofra Archer, Jason Roy are examples of nobodies when they joined the BBL. Went on to play for England after the BBL success.

I’ve seen a shitload of overreaction by the media here to how we’ve started… IMO we’ve been pretty f**king lucky with the schedule….

The Dutch and Bangers in the first 3 games…

Yes, the Aussies have had a tougher schedule but it is the manner of the losses that is of major concern. We deserve to get a pounding from the media for so many things. A few years back, Sri Lanka would be an easy win for us. I have grave concerns about beating them this time round.

You guys look one of the favourites to me.

Comparing to the 2019 side. Taylor and, to a lesser extent, Guptill are big losses but Conway and Mitchell are just about equal quality replacements on recent form. Santner is much improved, especially in these conditions.

Importantly, you have the wood over India too.
