OK, this is some pretty great death bowling from India. Early sunset helps I guess. Not as hot there as other grounds.
Not to mention Dharamshala is on an altitude in the north of India.

It was about 10-15 degrees cooler in the India vs NZ match than matches held in Chennai and Mumbai

I think the Kiwis can take a lot from last night.

Lets be real i reckon India would have 1 loss in them max in this tournament why not save it for the semis or the Final.

NZ at least showed they can grind away and scrap there way to a defendable total. And could beat them in the crunch game.

If we got scraped our way to 260-odd in our 1st game in chennai against India instead of pissing in the wind we probably win that game.

India's quicks are probably stronger then there batsman. Best FBC in the world atm.
NZ lost the game in their final 10 overs with the bat.

Up until then, they were on target for 300, but the death bowlers - most notably Shami in his first game of this World Cup - did more than enough to ensure victory.

At nearly the halfway mark of the round-robin stage of the tournament, safe to say that India, NZ and South Africa will be 3 of the 4 semi-finallists

NZ dont go near that total if India fielded like they did vs Us

Ravindra was dropped early, and Mitchell mid through his innings, they were sitters.

They burnt two dumb reviews also, so maybe a bit of pressure building for Team India ?

I reckon the fielding has been poor by most sides actually.

Your right India were elite in our game especially in the ring. Stopped anything that moved.

Is it the heat/humidity which is sapping the quality of the fielding.

We have the best cricketers in the world playing so fielding I thought would have been better.

Pakistan being scheduled to play against spin-heavy Afghanistan in Chennai where it spins sideways, surely just another coincidental quirk of the draw.

If South Africa lose to Bangladesh do we start to question wtf is going on there like we do with Pakistan.

They flog England & Australia but then would lose to the Dutch & Bangladesh all in the space of 2 weeks.

Jonny Bairstow reminding everyone again how England lost the Ashes. Its on his fat arse.

That is if you believe we won the Ashes at that moment however. There were 5 tests champ.

Johnny Bairstow has had massive whinging wihnn with his new book. In the media now
Complaints against our Aussie team Ashes
😭
The book is actually about Bazball and how it has revolutionised test cricket.

Basically a suck up to Baz McCullum.

I suppose England not winning an Ashes series for 8 years, yet to win a world test championship, not being able to win 16 x tests in a row on 2 different occasions has really changed test cricket for the greater good and revolutionised the game.
