And I’m sick of dredging up shit that happened years ago. His email, or whatever it was was in 2014.

And I don’t agree with the almost any coach line. No coach, even great ones, ever got our basket case of a club the big one. And you only need to look at Barry’s recent efforts to realise that we are still mostly a basket case under the thin veneer. It takes a particular type of person to operate well at our club, and we found one. If we don’t have a coach that players want to play for...what else do we offer to attract the likes of Johnson? Nothing lasts forever but I was hoping another 3-5 years from flanno and a realistic chance at another premiership.
Well you may be over it buts it’s clearly relevant if he broke the rules around his suspension otherwise we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

Do you truly think that any of the nrl coaches or potential coaches couldn’t get this side winning half it’s games?

Winning half the games isn’t the hard part, winning the comp is

Geez, talk about latching onto the telegraph hype.

We don’t know the detail, we don’t know how bad this contact was etc.

Rather than write the bloke off, how about just wait for the determination by the ARLC and NRL

What happens, happens and there is stuff all anyone can do about it
This has been coming for a while. Well before the Tele latched onto it.

The club would be nuts to sack him.

You know why
There’ll be some legal loophole they’ve overlooked and he’ll sue .

If carney can get paid for drinking his own piss in a public toilet, Flano will definitely win.
Its the NRL that will enforce a ban, not the club. If they ban him for a year the Sharks cant sack him as he's only got 12 months left on his contract.
The only way the Sharks can sack him is if he escapes any punishment off the NRL but the Sharks decide to sack him now anyway. That won't happen.

Surely

Let's hope he was communicating with the nrls appointed Sharks ceo

That will be good

Would it matter? Doesn’t change Flanno’s suspension rules.
As in the case of Carney ,I don't think NRL is sole arbitrator concerning a persons employment. To go back even further NRL or NSWRL didnt even have authority to run a player draft system, when challenged. Don't see how they can dismiss someone on grounds of answering some phone calls.

I don’t want him to go, but it is what it is. Nothing we can do about it. There is no doubt the NRL will do whatever they can to f**k us up as much as they can and the Telegraph will be all over it. Get ready for another few days on the front and back page.

If people actually want him to go, that’s a bit sad.

No one is dismissing him though so nothing like Carney’s case. He was suspended and broke the conditions so they’ll likely suspend him again. Then he’ll be out of contract at the end of the year. I’d also assume there would be a clause that the sharks don’t pay him if he is suspended by the nrl.
