I blame the NRL first and foremost for having no leadership for years, squandering money everywhere, playing favourites with certain teams, which meant if you were not in the cliq, you had to work the system to be on level playing ground.

The NRL for years turned blind eye to off field events, had no rules how to handle it, and this is why people have turned it off year over year.

Next too blame is the journos, they would rather report on negative news over positive news, and again they play favourites, current whipping boys in sydney Sharks, Eels, Dogs, Eagles the smallest issue is front page news for the rest again swept under the carpet.

Now in QLD no tackling in ages to under 7, and something like no grand finals up to 12, my god they wreck the game every chance they get.
