If it’s Perth PNG & NZ, then what order will NRL choose?

If it's PNG, NZ 2 and Perth, what order will they debut?

  • PNG, NZ 2, then Perth

  • PNG, Perth, then NZ 2

  • Perth, PNG, then NZ 2

  • Perth, NZ 2, then PNG

  • NZ 2, Perth, then PNG

  • NZ 2, PNG, then Perth

Another Queensland side or heck even a central coast team would be more palatable than a PNG team.
Not if you want 10 million more eyes on RL, its nice to have those other areas, but they aint going more from them than they already do now, ARLC want it all, whether you care about PNG or not, they have the balls to hand them a licence, just like arko did with the warriors in the mid 90s

No comparison whatsoever between the warriors and a potential PNG NRL team.

Hahahahaha, thats exactly what the racist toffs in 95 said, cant have a foreign club involved in our ARL..
Getting a similar feel reading your posts
classic telltale sign of someone losing a debate is to play the racist card.

Never said you were a racist... just saying its the same tales getting spun by the folks back then, and now just under 50% of the leagues athletes stem from NZ and the P.Is, besides I wasn't debating, coz it's happening whether you're care factor is zero or full...

I think it's pretty obvious that PNG will get the next team if there's an iron clad long term funding commitment from both national governments, tax breaks for player retention and some kind of compound to ensure player and crowd security etc. Seems like PVL is trying to convince Albo of a kind of FIFO system.

Those 10 million watch RL now, and collectively are worth nothing to any TV deal or sponsors.

But even then that's no 999 on the list of issues with a PNG team.

Png will become a massive nrl side

that 600 million will launch the club and the game into the stratosphere

the standalone finances the club will get from corporate png will shock the ignorami here

If you're young without a family, FIFO mine working is appealing because of the big pay day. You do it tough for a bit but you set yourself up. Seems like that's what PVL wants with the player tax breaks.

You’ve been quiet mate. All this good news must be difficult for you. Keep well. You’ve always got Max.

It's not appealing in a market where 17 other clubs players don't have to do it, and earn the same money.

A FIFO club won't appeal to the PNG people or do anything for the game

10 million people who:

a: mostly don’t have TVs
b: if they have TVs are already watching league
c: have bugger all disposable income anyway
d: mostly have zero prospect of ever making it to a live game

I’d love the people of PNG to have a team to support but financially they really are t much of a carrot.
