Lets get Frank Pritchard from the panthers, he is off contract and there are huge wraps on the kid.

Ryan Cross is coming off contract this year and i doubt the roosters will be able to hang on to him
i recon he would be a handy pick up for any club

after watching Ryan Cross tonight, no thanks! I would rather stick with Graham.

Amos Roberts would be a good pick up

Yeah if we do have money let's put it to keeping our players we have now and if we have some left over will pick up Joey.

That would increase both Parra's attack and defence with a Johns/Dykes combo!
Wagon shifted to lock. :D :D

The backline goes...alittle something like this.......

1- Burt
2- Petersen
3- Grothe
4- Vaealiki
5- Prince
6- Dykes
7- Johns

Now that's a backline that would cause some troubles!

Didnt Beattie only sign a 1 year contract with the Sharks? :D

He is on par with Morley, Wiki and Civoniceva interms of hitting power and that is exactly what the Parramatta forward pack needs.

Pazza wash your mouth out. He was also top five for penalties awarded last year along with Bailey and Nutley - something we definitely don't need! :p

Colonel dude, sometimes you just gotta take the good with the bad. As if Beattie wouldnt be a much better option than Vella.

He would have been a good pick up a year or two ago. Injuries are catching him up and I don't think he is as effective as he once was. However I do see your point. If we did pursue someone of his ilk I'd go for someone a little younger he is 29 this year - still young enough but wouldn't mind seeing a Peter Lewis, Ephalame Lauaki, Frank Pritchard or even Ben Ross chased.

yeah i just feel that every good pack needs a enforcer, who is really going to put the hard hits on in defence. All the top teams have atleast one.

Penrith: Puletua
Roosters: Morley
Warriors: Villasanti
Canberra: Wiki
Brisbane: Tallis

i dont feel that Parramatta has a player like this and one is needed.

He'd carve up with Parra. Having a Big strong Winger in Grothe, who won't abandon him like Hoppa did last season, they could forge an elusive, yet powerful attacking combination for the Eels. By all reports, and what i've heard through the Grapevine, Smith has always had a wrap on McGuinness as well. Tried to sign him when he first signed Hodgson from the Magpies in '99 before the Joint-Venture was announced with Balmain. But McGuinness satyed with Wests. I'd love to see him prove his worth and stick it up Manly, especially Hasler. Remembering this bloke was only one rep. game away from Origin 2 years ago. I'd love to see him go back home to Wests, but if not, my next option would to see him succeed with Parra.

There is no way in hell i would have Kevin Mcguinness at the club. Vaealiki and Graham will do just fine.
