If Perth got a team. First there will be excitement! First season! Then season season..small drop off...third season struggling 4th season a massive drop off in sponsorship and crowds...
After 10 years of poor crowds, performance, producing no talent, other clubs complaining about the travel....
Big mistake.
A massive white elephant...
Exactly what the NRL are trying to avoid.
NZ 2 will be the next team.

take off those super league tinted glasses
It's not Superleague tinted glasses, it's me speaking as an NRL fan from the Hutt Valley (just outside Wellington, New Zealand) looking in from the outside at a culture of Sydney entitlement and calling it out while other markets that can grow the game get disregarded - and feeling that the resources - players, coaches & sponsors - are finite, the question becomes "If X is the number of teams we'll have for the foreseeable future, how best to distribute those teams?"

That’s super league tinted glasses

anybody that’s been following rugby league for a while would never want to kill off Sydney clubs for teams in adelaide or Perth

How about this

we will have a comp with nine Sydney teams plus Newcastle Canberra and central coast and the rest can set up teams wherever they like including Singapore and we will see which comp survivors

When did Perth force get dumped from super rugby?! 2019?!
What was population then?!
That sport has had huge migration from rugby nations & has three times the real number (registered) of players.
What stadium with mismatched 90's grandstands did that club play out of?!
Force had daddy of all corporate sponsor in twiggy.
Guess 3 times a charm
Never, there’s never been a club called Perth force.

When perth gets a team and the pirates set sail there’ll be massive interest year one with a number of sell out games at hbf park.

Year two crowds will drop to 12 k avg as the club struggles on the field because the nrl are dumb cretins and learnt nothing from the dolphins.

Year 5 the club will be competitive again and crowds will be back up to 17k avg.

WA jnrs will be coming through by year ten and twiggy forest will have seen the error of his ways and offloaded the Force to become the major shareholder in the club. His injection of new cash will see the club reach new heights just as the western stand is finished at hbf park.

2030 WC Pirates home grown halfback wins the dally M on the back of the Pirates fit’s premiership and everyone realises what the games been missing out on since 1997.
NS Bears announce a plan to move to singapore if they get accepted back in nrl.

Thing with Perth is it is just a bigger version of here.

The place is completely and utterly besotted with Victorian Rules.

Perth Glory like Adelaide United barely fill out their stadium despite having tens of thousands of migrants from countries where that code is religion living in it.

RL will never get any traction in Perth or here as the NSW/Qld expat population is too small.

And as for the nuffies going on about Adelaide Sharks, as someone who has followed Cronulla and former NSL giants Adelaide City for most of my life, Adelaide Sharks is the former name of City's longtime rivals West Adelaide, I detest those bastards.
