A forum is not an echo chamber as much as you would like it to be. If you don’t like having your views challenged; or the fact that people are quite free and able to disagree with you then don’t converse with other people. It’s as simple as that.

You or I might disagree with them and I think also that they can be too negative and repetitive but they don’t leave a forum and tell everybody about it because people might disagree with them or because their feelings are hurt.

Seriously, he is announcing to everybody that he is leaving a forum like a child begging for attention. It shows a distinct lack of emotional and intellectual maturity. It also shows a degree of narcissism.

Go and take a break if you want - just don’t tell everybody about it.

But what I've learnt is that this place is used by people for many different reasons.
You and I do not know if aomething is going on in Pippens life that could be dragging him down, and it may be getting exasperated by being here as well. Who knows.
Pippen said he needs to say it so he does it.
Best to probably leave it at that then try and get a bit deeper into who he is without knowing anything about him.

it’s getting boring reading the exact same negative posts every day

if people like afl so much why not feck off to an afl forum where you will be welcomed with open arms

you need to learn that its ok to want things to be better, its ok to use your main competitor as your measure. and its ok to have different opinions.
And no one on here is an afl fan, thats just a lazy conceptualization you and others create for anyone who disagrees with your rose tinted world of bs ideas.

People dont like what I say thats fine, then put me on ignore if it bothers you so much.
But it comes from 43 years playing and watching rugby league and the desire to see the game be much more than it currently is. And yes I like a good argument at times
Yes when I moved to perth in '99 I tried to get into AFL as I love watching live sport but after three Eagles games at Subi I realized it wasnt for me. I find it boring to watch and the chasing the ball on the ground and the constant stop start and million subs just not for me, haventy been to a game, or watched on tv in 21 years.
but heck I wish our game had achieved what they have in terms of active fanbase, revenue, stadiums, expansion, tv deals, political clout etc. On the field we are by far the greatest game in the world, off it we still have a very long way to go.

Anyway keep talking about me rather than the game or the topic if you like, but thats what is really boring the f**k out of people.
