It was said it was complication with hip surgery, the other I heard she had lung cancer.

Yes it was the complication from the hip surgery which she died from but when she was in hospital for the procedure it was discovered she had inoperable lung cancer so sadly her number was up .

Geez you wouldn't want to go under to get a hip replacement lately.

I saw her perform at Canterbury Hurlstone Park RSL many many years ago and also at the Camelot lounge back in 2016, also saw her at a taping of the ch 7 show Where Are They Now when they did a special on Countdown.

Tis said she was at her most beautiful as she hit her 40s and beyond, thence became an activist and strong advocate for animal rights.
