And the Broncos averaged their highest crowd numbers for a single season since 1994 despite it being their worst season to date.

Broncos Badwagon fans

You had 40 odd thousand (assuming crowd was 50-50 with Dogs supporters) turn up for your prelim final when you guys looked like having a fairy tale finish to win the premiership.

You say you have 17 thousand loyal parramatta supporters week in week out, where did the other 23 thousand come from?

Oh wait what's that? I thought Parra didn't have bandwagon supporters?

Dont talk about a Broncos bandwagon... we get 30-40 thousand to each and every game, something your mob could only do once they got to the finals.

Broncos official release
THE NRMA Insurance Broncos have today formally withdrawn the playing contract that was offered to Greg Inglis.
These negotiations have been long and protracted, having started almost six months ago.
But with the current impasse over Greg’s release from the Melbourne Storm unable to be solved at this point, the Broncos feel it is time to move forward.
“We have worked long and hard on these negotiations, as have the other parties,” said Broncos’ chief executive Bruno Cullen.
“But with training already underway and no sign of the matter being resolved in a manner that would benefit the Broncos and its playing roster, it is time for the club to move on.
“We think it is an honour to represent our club and thus felt compelled to place a deadline of this afternoon for Greg to sign the contract he and his manager had agreed to.
“He was unable to commit to the club so we felt we had to make this call.
“When the possibility of Greg coming to the Broncos arose some months ago, the club always said it was entering negotiations only because of the stature of the player involved.
“But we also said at the time that we were very happy and confident in the squad we had assembled.
“That statement still holds today.
“We thank the Storm and the NRL for their co-operation, and wish Greg all the best with his future and hope he can resolve it to his satisfaction.
“We know that this move will ensure the club is able to keep our current crop of talent together for many seasons to come.”

Broncos did it once before and he came crawling back.

Not saying he will this time but at least now we can move on and trial players in the centre position.

Feel bad for the Broncos. Merkin of a news ltd club but they have been messed around with for months through no fault of their own. From all indications they've negotiated with everyone involved in good faith. On the plus side this means you can keep just about everyone you have atm for the rest of their careers if you want them.

Still no news from Inglis or Souths. Hopefully he doesn't F off to France at the last second. If he does join us, we'll be a serious contender to go all the way in 2011.

Such a joke.

Will be very surprised if Souths can fit him in the cap though. Maybe they can release someone who Brisbane can purchase

Dan Gilbert (Cleveland Cavs Boss) could learn alot from Bruno Cullen in professionalism. That statement from Bruno makes me proud to be a Bronco.

You're stupid, you realise Parra stadium only holds 20k where most of there games are played right? you realise its almost impossible for them to have a crowd average over 20k right?

So we have 600k spare...........time to steal Thurston, he is a crap leader/captain IMO but under Locky's direction he will be at his best once again.
