Inu Conversion VIDEO ADDED

Agree, the video is inconclusive, and if wasnt for a quizzical look on Inu's face running back, the arguement wouldnt be based on much.

Although the Sideline chick thought it went over, started saying some stats about the dogs going to win all their games this year when scoring 16+ points, but quickly changed it to 14 when she realised it was no goal.

I'm sure if it did in fact go over, CH9 will uncover some footage for the Footy show Thursday night.

Love the sig

He isnt, he is talking about the one that hit the posts.

Originally I thought the same as you, as the first few replies in this thread are concerning the 33rd minute one.

This thread was always about the one that struck the post.

To me, the 33 minute one always looked like it missed.

There is no other footage, the angle we've all seen is the only angle there is.

I thought it was another shot being mentioned, one from about the same spot went pretty much over the top of the left upright

Surely they must have had more than 1 camera at the ground focusing on the shot a goal. Yeah the public has only been given the one angle, but surely they must have other angles in the cutting room at Foxsports?

The one that hit the post had to have fallen short. No way the touchies are that incompetent...

i recall an nyc game a few years back where a kick clearly missed and it ended up deciding the match. it had a decent impact on the finals series too.

I've watched it in Slow-Mo, played frame by frame and I am convinced it has gone in.

When you look at the angle the ball takes once it has hit the post it is impossible to go any other direction other than forward.

That's a goal

The ball travels between the uprights, crossing the centre bar after it deflects off the upright.

The ball would have to travel in a completely different direction after it hits the upright to not cross the bar.

The linesman must have been borrowed from AFL and thought the ball hitting the upright meant it was out on the full.

Melbourne Storm v Warriors in Auckland. Gareth Widdop had a shot from right in front, missed by a metre to the right and the goal was given. IIRC they won by 1 point.

Must be the angle of the camera
Because 1 look is all I needed to think it went over .
The fact that the bloke who kicked it thought the same also makes me think it went over.

Are both touches flags down?
