 theres been hundreds of players who have left clubs they would rather stay at for better money.

Inu watch - against st george scored a try (crumbs from bomb), missed a try (held up) and missed 5 out of 11 tackles...middling at best

I feel increasingly defensive about Inu as I believe he's often picked on cause he's a bit different from your average roidbot playing football.

Dunno about others but I like a bit of character out there. However, one way or another, we seem a bit obsessed with him. Time to think about the future at the Warriors...

Ropati looked good this year.

Too bad, so sad, with an attitude like that I'm not surprised you spent most of your time playing reserve grade. What a toss of a comment.

"It was more of a business move, not a personal one."

Well, he is a professional Rugby League player. All I really care about it what he produces on the field. And what he is producing on the field is great. For the Bulldogs. And we're paying for it.

So club/team loyalty dont come into it ?

Inu comes to the Warriors "Im a big name, big game player. If you arnt nice to me, Im not going to play properly ! "

Hope the useless prick picks up parvo at his new club. We made on the deal by paying to get rid of him.

Was that quote from when he was at the Warriors? No. Making something out of absolutely nothing.

Does it matter when he said it? Not at all. He has come out and said it, he was there for the cash. I can't recall too many other players being so blase` about it. If he was carrying a similar attitude around the club, is it any surprise he was pulling on the Vulcans jersey?

With you oz. A lot of people are scratching their head about why he wasn't in first grade, if the bloke wasn't keen on being there, who would want him in the team. Its a kick in the guts type comment to his team-mates and the fans. I couldn't care less what happens to his career from now on in.

Yep, I must say before reading that comment I was definitely siding with Inu on this whole issue, now he can get f'ed.

What person here didn't know that Inu didn't want to leave Parramatta? What person didn't know that the reason he came was because of the increased money? And then he says what we all already knew, so speaks the truth, AFTER leaving the club and people have a big problem with that? I could maybe understand why you could have a bit of a problem if he came out and said that while still at the club. There has been a ton of players who come out and say when they sign elsewhere something along the lines of 'I really didn't want to leave but the offer elsewhere was too good to refuse.' How is that any different? But hey, whatever makes you feel better about him carving up for the Dogs while the Warriors have Ben Henry I suppose.

At least be pissed at him for the bucket of chicken instead :sarcasm:

Did you hear Ruben Wiki or Steve Price say they came to the Warriors purely for business reasons? Of course not, they're professionals. Once they're there, they're there for the team. There's no second thoughts. Thats why week in week out they're generally in your team, and a player like Krisnan Inu people are wondering why he isn't getting selected. 1% off in the NRL and your team gets destroyed, its a very competitive league. Good riddance to a bad egg.

Did they? IIRC, Cleary dropped Ruben Wiki for what must have been the first time in his career since his first year.

The guy was well and truly on his last legs when he got paid the big $$ to come to the club. I love Wiki, but he got selected more than his football justified. The opposite to Inu.

:? where did he say that while he was at the Warriors that he wasn't 'there for the team'? You are reading too much into and getting pissed about a quote where he was explaining why he left Parramatta, a club he wanted to stay at. And he left for the same reasons hundreds if not thousands had done so before and hundreds more will into the future, and everyone already knew why he came to the Warriors. I find of all the things people like to rag on Inu about, this is one of the smallest things you could use.

What about Maloney? He came here purely for financial reasons. He has stated numerous times that he would have taken any other offer in Australia over ours. Now he's headed back to Aus next year, and he's in the team week in, week out.

I don't begrudge any player who goes to a team for purely financial reasons. League players only have a limited amount of time to make money, so good luck to 'em. Look how many of them end up working in the coal mines and shit after their league days are done. Even legends like Stacy Jones have to go and buy Subway franchises and do ads for finance companies.

I really don't understand why people get so uppity over this kind of stuff. There are plenty of examples of guys who come here for the money and go on to love NZ or just be great for the team. I think some people need a reason to justify Inu's waste of talent over here.
