Just wondered what everyones thoughts are, ive been a fan of manu for ages but have to say this year hes looked very shaky, nearly every game hes come up with some crucial mistakes. Inu does float in and out of games but in my eyes would be the better option in the finals. From what Ivan said though Manu will be back v the broncos

6 of one and half a dozen of the other.

when they're on, they'red hot.

when they're not, they're crap and could cost us a spot.

they better be on..

Dang, came here to say why not have both.

FTR I would play captain centre this week. Just against the broncos.

To play Taylor, or Brown in the 2nd row? I don't know...the Mann has been unreal in the 2nd row, whilst being largely anonymous at centre. Last time he played there, in the Tigers loss, he gave me kittens.

Yeah, Bill Tupou has been solid, but has slipped a little in recent weeks. I daresay it'd be Billy out if Manus fit.
But like OZ said, both Inu & Manu have been hot & cold, let's hope they are ready for finals stuff.

I cant see Ivan dropping Tupou for Inu he has been picked ahead of him all year, and i would keep Manninig in 2nd row hes been awesome there

How well has Inu played in the number 2 Jersey though? My feeling is that he's more of a Left winger and perhaps not as good on the right, which is why he hasn't really played while Manu has been fit this season. His games on the left have been the stand outs from what I can remember. Just a thought.

Inu & Vatuvei for mine.

Manu, even when not fully fit is still a potent weapon. We lost a fair bit of go forward with him absent, he's good for 10-15m sucking in 2.3 tacklers early in almost every set.

Inu is hot and cold but when he's on he's capable of some brilliant touches. I thought he had his mojo back against the Cows.

Tupou to me is a bit of a Patrick Ah Van. A solid player who puts in 100% but not really more than a club journeyman standard player, at least at this stage of his career.

Yeah I have mentioned this in the past. Inu really shines in the number 5; not so much in the number 2... hence why I picked him in the centres for this weekend. However, if Berrigan is back Inu may be dropped entirely.

I think it makes a big difference to some players.

Krisnan played in the 5 jersey from round 2 to round 8 (7 games); in the 2 jersey from round 9 to round 14 (5 games; bye excluded). Dropped (ridiculous call) in round 15 after his first start in the centres.

Early in the season he was often referred to as our best player on the field; after moving to the 2 jersey he became less popular and his try scoring strike rate dropped.

Perhaps this merely reflects the preference of our halves to play the left flank, but I believe Krisnan looks more comfortable in the 5 than the 2.

Well I see Inu missed out today on the team list. I feel for him, as he had a great game last week. But I don't begrudge Bill his spot, he's been solid for us this season.
Manu has been off his game, IMO Inu was more deserving of the spot...but I'm sure Manu will be fired up for the final

I know what you're saying - but I would pick Manu over Inu. It's Manu!!! He'll be up for this one. Hopefully Kris gets back in somehow - we need match winners out there.

I think this obsession with Manu is getting a bit much. I know he's a cult figure, but he's been s**t all year, still drops the ball on the regular, seems slow, yet doesn't get dropped. Inu, on the other hand, gets dropped everytime he farts or sneezes.
