What are the odds of Galvin going to Manly. This has Isaac Moses written all over it.

You have to question Anthony Seibold here. He's playing with his coaching future by constantly allowing Moses (also his agent) plonking players at Manly.
I couldn’t see it personally. They signed 2 young gun halves last year with huge potential, they are probably just looking at getting through a year or 2 to get them ready

Listening to the 100% Footy podcast now, can’t say I feel DCE is being overly truthful here. Says no offers at all from other clubs, wants to get this public now and take his time to consider all offers later in the year, but then states he won’t consider the Manly offer

He is already signed, sealed and delivered elsewhere imo
Yeah exactly. Why wouldn't he consider it? Have we been told that?

The communication in all this seems genuinely shit house. Why can't they just sit down in a room - pretty easy to do, they all work at the same place - and speak + listen to each other, and either get to a point where they agree, or walk out in agreeance that both parties are going in different directions?

It should never have got to where it got yesterday, where the CEO is ringing a bloody news outlet to signal a new deal, which the player seems to not be aware of, and one of their marquee players goes on TV and says he won't entertain their deal. It's such a poor situation, I can't even fathom how they got to it.

Manly have always been outstanding, and prided themselves on battling on through turmoil. That was when they had a gun coach, however.

But hey, more drama, more eyes on the NRL. Rugby union just cannot produce anything near the subterfuge and turmoil that league uses to run wild across the media and keep itself in the public's eye.

Meanwhile, the All Whites are going to their third World Cup Finals. This is the first time we qualified without playing outside our conference which worries me somewhat. We always benefitted from those hard qualifying games in the past. However, they mostly meant we failed to qualify!

worry is that Australia will at some point argue to be put back in our conference as it now has direct qualification - Asia works for them though, and they get tough competition - if they came back to us, we'd be back to once in a generation, I guess

But they didn't trip up, and were as expected a class above the others - great stuff!!!

Honestly, it's popcorn season with this DCE stuff. There's a million different insights and rumours, I heard this and he said that sort of thing going on.

I say he ends up at the Rooters, in the belief he could, at a push, jag one last premiership there. Surely money can't be a driving factor? Going to the Phins, unless he has a personal reason for going there, seems silly.
