Unpopular opinion but I thought Inglis was never as good at Souffs as he was before either. Got fat and lost a lot of agility just like Latrell. Was still good but not the same and far more injury prone. I sense a theme.

a good example of this is inglis’s amazing solo try against the broncos.

If that were melbourne GI it would have been a fairly innocuous looking try as once he’d broken free it would have been put down the glasses and he’s gone. But fatty GI had to work like crazy palming people off, stepping, and jinking as defenders kept chasing him down. So it looked far more spectacular

It’s always funny watching someone preach moral shit not practice it in real life. His dog shot yesterday summed up souths day to a tee. One of my rules in life is avoid anyone who preaches morals. They are dangerous people who are up to something

HAHAHAHA the Greg Inglis takes are wild and examples of rewriting history.

Go watch GI highlights 2012-2014. He was big, fast, super lean, ridiculously fit, strong, powerful, etc - both in attack and defence. The best outside back the game has seen this century.

People only remember the last 18 months after he did his ACL. He was unstoppable as usual before that.

If Latrell had 10% of Greg's fitness and stamina he'd be a completely different player, but alas, he doesn't.

Latrell and GI are both centres. They’re both very good centres, and at clubland you are wasting them on one flank giving them a dozen runs per game. Hence they both played fullback at clubland (apart from when both played with better fullbacks like Slater and Tedesco). That said GI was a much better fullback than Latrell for the reasons listed.

He's played 64 games in four seasons for Souths.

Not a particularly good return on their investment.

My favourite Latrell screw up of the round hasn’t been mentioned anywhrrr else (I don’t think). Midway through the second half Marzhew makes a break through the middle. I keep expecting to see the Souths ‘fullback’ fly into the picture to tackle him. After Marzhew has run 40m uninterrupted I guess Mitchell must have been in the line. At this stage Mitchell finally appears in the screen, with the break covering 50 odd metres already.

What the f@ck was he doing? (Points for the most creative answer).
