Hopefully, Rob on PI won't accidentally delete the entire game day thread if the fans are too critical after the South peformance and he accidentally did after the Sea Eagles game.

One thing I've noticed - there appears to be more posts in the match day thread after a loss than after a win.

This match is already up to 16 pages! From memory, the Warriors match was lucky to stretch to 10... and the match was played nearly 24 hours earlier that weekend.

Summary = we like to whinge and moan more than praise and congratulate.

Truly mystifying.

funny how mod's in PI act like a big fish in little pond, but when they come into as big pond they turn into guppy's

It really is quiet in this Big Pond, I can only see one other fish viewing the Panthers section at the moment.

do the game day threads dissapear more rapidly after a bad weekend?

Rob Weaver accidently deleted the entire thread discussing the Sea Eagles game. Can't blame him really. It made depressing reading. Should delete all references to the Souths game which it as equally depressing.

Just went to post on the thread and sure enough it gonski! So much for freedom of speech. One would think a journalist such as Rob would be more appreciative of such values. Apparently not.

I'm sure you can post a new thread in Panthers Only if you feel the need.

I'm sure it's all been said. I was too depressed to enter the game day thread last night. Couldn't face it.

Regardless, surely the thread could remain open until at least Tuesday when the first grade squad is announced for the upcoming fixture. I wouldn't think that would be unreasonable. Would you!

Nope, and you're right. The game day forum has disappeared earlier than it usually does.

Cainen, I truly don't know any more!

We have a side containing Wesser, Rooney, Lewis, Campbell, Gower, Waterhouse, Pritchard, Big T, Clinton, Priddis to name only the established representative stars.

Why have we underachieved in 2005-2006 and why does PI see fit to close any thread that dares to criticise the on field performances of the team or off field performances of the management!

The easy option is to blame injuries, refereeing decisions or inept coaching or selections from our coaching staff. Sure we've all been guilty of such excuses!

No more being politically correct the fact remains our recruitment and retention strategies have failed dismally!

Everyone from management, supporters, opposition supporters, journalists and commentators are all well aware the club needed to strenghten in certain positions for 2007!

Did we! NO!

Have management done there job well? NO

Should we be happy and except the politically correct crap coming out of PI? NO!

Why should we as true Panther supporters accept second best. We've been accepting it for the best part of 40 years. After 2003 there was optimism we'd turned the corner. As history will show it has been more of the same, unlike after 1991 when very unfortunate events conspired to effectively destroy the unity within the club.

The game day threads usually get deleted on a Tuesday, sometimes they get deleted earlier, probably because the threads about the next week are already starting to pop up and it is easier to have them in one place.

I found this for you. Maybe it will stop the  about P.I and its assumed "communist" approach to forum threads:

I am going to close this thread now and open another based on this premise in General Rugby League, as I think it is something that needs to be debated.

I belong - to a team and a place called Panthers

i started a topic " will we be stroger or weaker next year and why??"
it was a real post, i was baggin anyone, or being rude, i said that we will be much weaker becuase we are down a starting center and 5/8th, and we might have some young up and comers but they are not proven, and we have no depth. and i got booted for that. maybe good old PI nazi was at it again.....
