Opinion Is Ricky Stuart the most overrated coach ever?

Fine, they agreed to release him early. While salary cap was an issue, i'm sure after road rage, bikie dinner and impersonating a union player incidents made it an easy decision.

Lets hope Ricky shows some fortitude if he's found guilty. And that playing well doesn't excuse committing an offence.

Hmm beej was obese and could barely legally tackle when he arrived at Canberra.

Seizer, shown the door by Titans.
BJ, basket case no one wanted.
Hodsgson, good recruiting.
The Knights were happy to keep Leilua but he wanted to go elsewhere

Pretty sure the Titans wanted to keep Sezer too but the Raiders offer was something they couldnt match

Nice revisionist history though

I can't pretend to read sezers mind but he signed with us when DCE signed with the Titans. He was reported signed on ~500k which is pretty standard nrl halfback money.

So he came to the raiders because he saw himself getting pushed out by dce. What's interesting is that he stuck with the Canberra deal after dce back flipped

Yep, he has really come on leaps and bounds. Happy for him.

Sometimes when players change clubs they feel like they have something to prove, which is the case here I think. Hopefully he can keep up the form next year for you guys.

Imagine how much better sticky would be if he could see the far side of the field during the game? Or maybe he relies on blind luck to get them through.

Yeah I could never understand why he sits on the sideline during a game. Surely it's better for the coach to sit up above the field where you can see players positions throughout the game,
