Im predicting even Saints will beat them this year. If that happens, I expect Canberra fans to riot.

If Dragons beat the Raiders then you know there is absolutely no hope for the Raiders.
They will be the eels of 2010-2013 for the next 4 yrs

Not sure it says it all, it's f**king hard to read.

Anyway. Did Ricky have a sook again last night? I haven't had a chance to watch the presser yet. Cliff notes would be great.

Cliff notes:

- happy with the effort
- mistakes not happening at training
- feels for the players, results not reflecting players efforts and desire to win
- blah, blah, blah, mumble, mumble, mumble

I have a feeling the lads are going to have another crack at the raiders most loses in a row record that most of them already share a part of.

This besides Stuart is a big problem at the club. Too many players that are part of the woodwork

The likes of McCrone and Campese seriously would struggle to crack other teams top 17. Same with the forwards. So many players just cruising because their spots are safe

Cheers. So basically that implies the coach is shit.

LOL Most raiders fans still want him coaching them, RS has them buying into his bullshit, they are about to learn the hard way, RS will go close to destroying the club, it will take them 10 years to recover from him.

They will indeed learn a very harsh lesson with this dude at the helm. Its akin to Captain Smith from the SS Titanic at Bridge!

And all spoken with the utmost respect and politeness to the journo's . You'd think he was attending a job interview ;-)

Post Traumatic Sticky Disorder?

I feel really bad for Raiders fans, though, and I do sincerely hope Sticky can dig his side out of this mess.

Maybe in 2015, after getting rid of some players and promoting youngsters, we might see a more competitive Raiders outfit.

He's rapidly losing support, mostly because he's not doing what we expected. He seems determined to go down with the ship captained by grizzled seasoned vets, who are proven not to be up to any longer like McCrone, Campese, Buttriss, Robinson and White.

He'd have a lot more leeway if he took the route he took at Parra and gutted the joint. Which is precisely what we need. Had he pulled off his audacious Free Agent spree, the mood would be completely different.

He had people reluctantly on board to begin with, most raiders fans understood this was a dicey move that could go south quickly. He didnt have much rope and he's losing it pretty quickly. My feeling is there is no a lot of support out there in the fan base for him, and 13 weeks into his tenure, id suggest that is because many were never really sold to begin with

We'll have a better idea of what sort of job he's doing this time next year, but the early signs are not good. But it's not as if the fans can do anything about it, the QLC dont give a shit about us anyways, so we can only hope it works out

The players seem unfocused and poorly drilled in attack.
the defense is ok at times but they still have a tendency to rush up leaving wingers / centres unmarked which leads to easy tries

A better defensive pattern would need to the first thing fixed but seeing its Ricky he probably won't change anything...

For him to say the boys are putting in effort but not getting the calls etc is just laughable.. Some of the kick chase last night was pathetic and that is usually a great indicator of enthusiasm.

I also would drop White, Campese, Mccrone & probably robinson ( surely he was not this shit last year ?? ) and give Cornish , Baptiste and the Pangai boys a run... couldn't be much worse could it ?
