I don't envy Paine at the moment. He's been asked to captain in the most turbulent period in Australian cricket for decades, where the scrutiny on the team from all angles was the highest it could be.

Is he perfect? No, but he's also captained for 9 months. He needs time and support to make the role his own and go beyond "interim" captain, because Smith is not going to come in and captain

Unlike the captains from most of the other cricketing nations who have been caught out ball tampering but get just one week and return to captain their sodden teams

Rubbing mints on the ball is no different to rubbing sandpaper.

I hope Smith returns as captain, and Warner returns and rubs his detractors faces in it by scoring a heap of runs. And many of our current useless batsmen are never seen in national colours again.

Team scores of 150 is diabolical, laughable, embarrassing and downright pathetic. Who says Warner is a dickhead,
I would say he is a winner. I would rather play alongside him than the weak insipid blokes we currently call batsmen.

Oh yes, sorry, thanks for updating, it was 2 South African cricket executives who posed alongside others who had sonny bill masks on. Pathetic, rude, disgraceful and bullying. Imagine if cricket Australia had executives pose alongside people with masks on of their darkest day.

Warner had every right to sue the jerks, and even meet them behind the back of the grandstand, gutless bastards. I don’t give a frig what the MINORITY believe, the sooner Dave Warner is back in the team giving it to teams like India and South Africa....the better.
