Can I say if you're over 50, make sure to take advantage of the government poo tests and have regular check-ups and blood tests. If it weren't for an abnormal blood test, we wouldn't have picked up my cancer until it was too late. We were quite lucky to catch it pretty early on. Now just waiting for some test results on the bit they took out of me to see if I need any chemo etc.

I just thought I would draw your attention to the group around the fire on the bank and in particular the jersey, and yes the blues could of been bluer.

You make it sound so simple. Its just the start of the whole humiliating process. So much fun growing old and losing every last shred of human dignity. They should just introduce a virus or sumpthin,to mercifully kill all of us irrelevant old Feckers off .

Hahaha. I'm 41 and already a veteran of 3 colonoscopies so I'm joining the party early. Had polyps removed each time so number 4 will be early 2025.

Well we all just don’t know what is around the corner. Two years ago lump on neck, biopsy, a trip to the cancer center at Shoalhaven. The professor tells me .
‘Go home now , get driven to Wollongong Hospital (thank you Uba and the wise Seik that drove me all the way there ) they will be expecting you.
Turns out I have indocrine cancer ( my much younger nephew died of it a few months earlier).
But the chemo and radiation worked, I still have an injection every three months. I’m alive and well. Which is way better than the alternative.
Lesson. When things go to Sh%t , Push on regardless.
