What a year. Its over done and dusted all grades.
What a year. Pou suspended, bones on bones formed and become a party of 3. You nuthuggers huggn nuts. Deathriders having a field day and a wooden spoon.

The best part of the season was chatting to my friends on here, otherwise would of been a lonely season.
So hope everyone enjoys the offseason and keeps well as always next year.

Side note panthers have all 3 grades still alive and kicking if anyone wants a side to support during finals.

Can anyone give me a good reason why we will be any better next year?

Our spine is terrible and I can’t see how it will be any better in 19. BA needs to grow a pair and make some tough decisions.

Moeroa, MJennings, Will Smith, Taka and King have to go. Sorry boys but you just don’t offer anything any more.

French I would probably persist with as a fullback - he is not a wingers arsehole.

I think next season will be another shocker.

That is the ONLY reason BA is still coach.

Are you proposing that we subsidise the salaries of French, Menningds, Norman, Taka and Timmy to play elsewhere next year or just not re-sign them ?

I think next season will be another shocker.

Watching other teams run is so depressing!! When they’re hitting the ball up they are running with a good head start so by the time they get to the defensive line they actually push us backwards. When they’re attacking they all stand nice and deep and once again get to the defensive line to either push us backwards or because they are moving with plenty of pace actually get to use their footwork to put us in two minds.

We just stand flat and hope we can get some post contact metres with a hit up or get lucky that the other team makes a defensive mistake......

The players we have that run hard (like Brown) are just not big enough to be effective against the really good teams.

We should spend 12 months overhauling the entire roster, as we have plenty of palyers off contract at the end of next season.

From November 1 we should be signing players for 2020 and look beyond mext season. Anyone we don't need going forward should be moved on when their contact is up.

This may mean that we wont be Premiership contenders in 2019, but that is probably the case anyway. So we shouldnt let too many players go now where we're paying part of their deal, but we should tell them now that their time is up with the club at the end of their contract and they will no longer be required.

We need to change the players. If the coach cant see that the current players are going to get him sacked, then he simply deserves to go down with the ship.

Looking at the amount of players who are all off contract in 2019, the rebuilding process will be quite easy. Meaning that there will be no Ricky whiteboard moment to move on a dozen who are still contracted.

Agree. We missed him desperately when he was injured a few weeks back.
