They look like a mini footy side out there. It looks as though they need a coach standing behind them to tell them where to stand in both attack and defence.

Where are the fundamentals?

Chalk has no idea where to stand in defence as a fullback.

I stand by my off season predictions - we're going to lost 5 of the first 6 and then start putting some wins together.

Good signs early from Canberra, but the serious lack of a fullback and some worrying defence in the backline.

chalk is a terrible fullback, should play in the back row and the back row only. Positional play ordinary.

Best has been closely followed by Lincoln Withers. He has been awful and makes so many mistakes.

I don't mind fundamental errors from the young blokes but when your experienced players cost you the match, it's frustrating to watch.

Settle down mate, it's the first real game of the season with a brand new team and a brand new coach played in miserable and sh*tty conditions.

Given the club's lack of ability to retain quality players I am personally grateful that these guys have come here, and it saddens me to personally know that some of the guys do read what is said here and talk like yours is representative of what the more "devoted" fans have to say about thier team.

Its not unusual for us to play poorly against Cronulla. But it is unusual for us to not even score a point. Elliot's game plan seems to involve zero flair :x

Penrith was the worst team of the night. Predictable and ineffective. No points and no idea. Saw some of the raiders game on the viewers choice option, some silly errors from Colin 'Worst' I noticed.

Man that sounded like a terrible match. I could only catch it on the radio. Seemed like Dobson was missing and Best needs some time in premier league. Seriously he sucks ass. Our biggest problem sounds like a massive lack of ball control and handling. Hopefully we're much improved next week but I can't see us winning.

we were our own worst enemy we had good postion and wed f**k up with drop ball and foward passes. poor ball security and bad reads in defence.

chalk did take some good takes on the high ball

when williamson scored that try why was purtell off his wing.

graham should have stayed on one side of the field instead of switchin back and forth threw the match.

howell looked good in patches.
carney and dobson i have full confidence the more they play together the better they will become

chalk was rusty at fullback like most of our players.

We need either Zillaman or Goodwin at fullback

Exactly and we play the Storm next week, so be prepared for something ugly, real ugly.

Seriously, there is nothing to get angry about this year as I have seet my expectations accordingly.

Bileduct, the players get paid a nie wage so they need to learn to cope with the criticism and tonight our senior players were pathetic.

This is the year when the Elliott game plan would suit our playing roster.
