So can I ask Tony - and i'm honestly not asking to stir the pot or to be a smarta$$ - where are the figures that suggest that so many Eels fans are pissed about having to go to ANZ 2-3 times a year?

I can't ever recall doing any surveys, or undertaking any type of market research for my opinion on the matter.

As I said before - I don't disagree with the Sentiment - but it appears that its an NRL Thing in general these days to move home games away from home - I think as Eels Fans we should be extremely thankful that our Home Games aren't moved to Perth, or Further than 20-30kms down the road - to a place that is easier to access for fans anyway....

The playing venue shouldn't and won't make much a difference on winning games. If it does then those players need to be pushed onto another club.

At the end of the day it's a business and the club needs to be run with its head and not heart if they wanna stay competitive with other well funded and resourced clubs.

Their might be members who do whine and moan about it being played it ANZ but i'm sure they will still turn up to watch the marquee games played there.

The players said that a couple of days later only after the heavy criticism directed at the club and board for hiding behind the players... but if you wish to believe the players volunteered on their own accord thats your prerogative. Regardless the board should have refused it was their turn in the spotlight.

Yes they should be . Until they enter the political side and make a financial gain ,Then they're fair game IMO . Lets just say Fitzy was a better player than he was , would he also be untouchable ?

Ray price is a dummy who should be nowhere near a suit unless he's going to a wedding or funeral . He was easily used by 3P because they knew he had a vendetta against Fitzy and would do anything to seek his revenge . He got Fitzy out and a nice little gig on the side and then when things were going bad they employed him as an assistant coach . In my book everything that Ray Price ( my favourite player behind Bert ) did good for Parra he undid by sucking from the clubs titty the last few years .
