I believe it was ultimately Grant Mayer who also decided to sign Richards over Koro, brooks and moses on huge 4 year deals when they'd played a combined 1 first grade game and sironen on rep player money

I wish Koro stayed with us but I'm not going to play the "we are stupid for keeping Richards" game.

Richards was in 100x better form in the early stages of 2014 and his goal kicking was the best in the NRL. Koro was still very raw and letting in as many tries as he was scoring. WT made a choice to keep Richards over Koro and it was a good idea at the time.
When he went to the Storm we all thought the same thing..."he will develop into a better player than we can make him into".

Should we still play him for rest of the year given our season is almost over.

Who's going to replace him for next year? We should blood them surely

I wonder if nofo's poor form is due to Kev running out of the line and leaving nofo stranded. Must take a toll mentally if blokes are running past you to score all the time.

If JAC manages to renege on whatever deal he has with Melbourne I'd keep him on.

He was ordinary today, still ran f**king hard for a winger though. A couple of the forwards could take note.

Hard to judge a winger on a game today. Won't play too many games in those conditions during your career.

I can't remember the last time Kev put Nofo into space down the sideline. Kev doesn't seem to be able to reliably draw and pass which probably comes from being a winger first. The majority of Nofo's tries are coming from cut-out balls from Tedesco or Moses. I also can't remember the last time that a kick was put up that he could actually contest, though that probably comes from the 7 tackles from catching it in-goal now.

Certainly is. Ayshford suffered the same defending next to Lui here and Carney at the Sharks. Be has a new lease on life now though.

Officially gorrrne for next year. From the club:

Wests Tigers can confirm that Joshua Addo-Carr will leave the Club at the end of the 2016 NRL season.

Addo-Carr has played four NRL games for Wests Tigers since joining the Club at the start of the season on a one-year deal from the Cronulla Sharks.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe said that while the Club was disappointed to see Addo-Carr leave at the end of the season he understands that it was not an easy decision for him to make.

“I’d like to make it clear to our Members and fans that Wests Tigers made a very competitive offer to retain Joshua for the next few years and while we’re disappointed we wish him well,” he said.

Wests Tigers have also confirmed that Asipeli Fine has been granted an immediate release from the remainder of his playing contract.

Fine played three NRL games for Wests Tigers since making his debut in Round 25 of the 2014 season.

Idk, while we are still a fighting chance he's our best option at winger

Now the MCK resigning makes a lot more sense, I think our backline next year is already set in stone

1. Tedesco
2. Naquiama
3. Chee Kam
4. Simona
5. Nofoluma
6. Moses
7. Brooks

Disappointing although was inevitable.

If Naiqama was to remain in 1sts it has to be only on the wing.

I wouldn't b dropping JAC until we r mathematically out of running for the 8.
