And McGregor a Burr under our saddle.Sorry muz old boy , but your wrong on that one . You see the name Perry Mason was only an ‘ alias ‘ that he used whilst playing footy , his real name in fact was Raymond Burr .
Surely he's in the front row. What about Barge Arse?
I’ve noticed in previous posts you’ve got a habit of conflating allegations with criminal charges. They are not the same thing. It’s a statement of fact that the vast majority of allegations of sexual assault do not result in charges. The NRL’s stand down rule applies to criminal charges, not allegations. In the interests of accuracy and clarity I think you should try not to do that.Fair enuff.
I made a statement of fact about the cops and not an allegation.
I didn’t specifically link it to jdb. I have no idea if they have it right or wrong and nobody can make that assessment until the case is finalised.
Either way, it may even go to appeal. So a long process.
The no fault stand down is a real dog of a rule.
As I said, better to put the time, money and effort they spend on it into rape crisis centres etc.
You can disagree, but the phrase ‘not guilty’ is not the same as ‘innocent’. And they use the specific language for a reason.I disagree, if the charge fails, you are considered to be entirely innocent of that charge. There’s no proportionally based guilt or innocence. You walk!

Exactly right. It does seem obvious. The easiest example to prove this is OJ ...
Found not guilty but wasn't innocent.
Innocent is whether you did it or not
Not Guilty can mean innocent but also can mean you did it but it just wasnt proven in court.
pretty obvious really.
It’s a word used when you can’t be bothered saying something..
That's mostly correct. But the presumption of innocence applies as a basic tenet. The onus is on the prosecution to prove guilt. If the judgement is not guilty, then the presumption of innocence still applies. The easiest example to prove this is OJ ...
