Definitely they get it wrong from time to time on MJohns and NRL360, but often they just know something that hasnt been made public yet, or for example with the Josh Morris fiasco, it might have been the truth but Josh couldnt come out and say it publically.

It was Runciman's uncle Trent who played for the Dogs & Wests Tigers, so no father / son loyalty applies. He's about to sign an extension with the Dragons, so looks safe for a few more years.

He didn't want to go there because they had Prince and Marshall as their halves and why should he go there now when he has no interest in doing so. He saw a better opportunity at the Roosters and also did not want the extra pressure of having to live up to his fathers name. Wayne was actually supportive of Mitchell coming to the Roosters for the same reason.
